Optimized Picking
- Pick into permanent totes or cartons.
- Orders can be inducted by either scanning a barcode (e.g. shipping label, reusable tote ID, carton content
label) or by requesting next waved order from WMS.
- Carousel operator may induct next waved order without scanning a carton label. If an order is
available with picks in the carousel zone, the order information is displayed on screen and operator is
prompted to scan either a reusable tote id or a unique license plate number. From that point on, the scanned
barcode is associated with that order. Waved orders are prioritized by date required.
- Display image of product being picked.
- Tall horizontal carousel pods may be configured to pick by vertical band. This saves the picker from
continually raising and lowering the operator platform.
- One button click to complete pick for all totes.
- Allow carousel operator to pick into a new tote or carton when current tote or carton becomes full. If
needed, a new carton label is automatically printed when the new tote is requested.
- Show remaining pick zones on sortbar display at end of pick wave. This allows carousel operator to
route tote or carton to appropriate warehouse zone when finished picking from carousel.

Optimized Replenishment
- Multiple products may be inducted for putaway (one product per sortbar position). This minimizes the
replenishment time by pre-spinning carousels to the next putaway location.
- Display image of product being replenished.
- Allow product replenishment to any empty carousel bin location. During replenishment, DivertCode will
first try to find an existing location or sticky bin within the carousel, if none is found then an empty bin
is located where the product may be moved to. The empty bins are organized so as to optimize putaway time and
distribute products evenly within the carousels.
- Putaway product into carousel bins based on Accellos WMS reach, handle and size codes. The logic can
be customized within the WMS and used by DivertCode for strict product putaway.
- Capture product license plate information during product move.
